A main aim of the project “Missing Identity” is the setting up of seminars and workshops on visual arts and contemporary culture with the intention of establishing an intellectually stimulating environment of creativity and innovation including as many (young) people as possible. As the result of a stagnant and still dysfunctional educational system, there remains a significant lack of information about contemporary art and culture.
Therefore, there is a tremendous need for supplementary and alternative courses, workshops and seminars.
In the framework of the “Missing Identity” project, courses on contemporary visual arts and culture are organised.
They last for four months each (40 - 60 hours). There are four courses per year, covering topics such as:
* Sociology of Communication
* Art and Communication
* New Art Practices
* Contemporary Culture
* Conceptual Art
* Art Criticism
* Public Art
The courses are managed and carried out in the premises of the Institute for Contemporary Art, EXIT, in Prishtina.
